Patient Access
Please note: Patient Access is a third party service and is not managed by the practice. Please contact patient access directly by either emailing support@patientaccess.com or clicking here if you are experiencing any issues.
Patient Access is an online provider which allows you to book/cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view your medical record*. To sign up for patient access, please present to the surgery with 2 forms of ID (proof of address & photo ID) and complete our Patient Access registration form. *Medical record viewer is available from 29th November 2023. You do not need to apply for access, it will automatically be available if you have a Patient Access account. Medical record viewer is for prospective records from this date only.
FAQs
Question: What is viewable on my Patient Access app?
- Results, including: blood tests, blood pressure, ECG, radiology (if ordered by the practice)
- Immunisation history
- Repeat medication
- Letters to and from the doctor
- Allergies
- Active medical problems
- Brief consultation information (coded issues and not full consultation details)
Question: Can I change information on my record?
The information available to you will be viewable in "read-only". However, if you view information on your record that you feel is incorrect, please contact the practice.
Question: How secure is Patient Access?
Every patient will have their own unique login details. It is your responsibility to keep your login details and password safe and secure.
Question: Can children have Patient Access?
The age limit set for Patient Access is 16+. However, proxy access can be granted for access to medication and appointment booking only. Please follow the usual registration process mentioned above.
Question: Can access to my account be removed?
Access can be remotely turned off by the practice.
Question: If I want to be able to view my full record from before the 29th November, what do I do?
